Education in Russia

The education in Russia have it's origin long before 18 or 17 century. By the 10th century we had already had dozens books translated from Greek to Slavonic language.

In pre-revolutionary period, a lot of tries were made to create common network for all levels of education. But finally it was accomplished after 1917. Nevertheless, there were schools, lycées and universities for nobles. Here you could learn various subjects like grammar, mathematics, logic and so forth.

The first university was founded in 1755. Thanks to M.V. Lomonosov we made the first step in filling the gasp of having a special place where people could get the higher education.

When the Soviet Union was driving the government, all citizens got the right to study in different education organizations. And nowadays, Russian Federation continues to provide this benefit.
